Video on What Would Happen if Zuckerberg deleted Facebook

If Facebook was Deleted

Ever imagined living in a world where Facebook didn’t exist? A new video that is claiming to be the movie trailer for “The Social Network 2″ shows some of the things that would happen in the world if Mark Zuckerberg was to wake up one morning and decide to delete the entire platform.

Although the video is clearly just a bit of fun it does pose some good questions about the reliance of the social network on its visionary leader and just what would happen if anything ever happened to him. But it is clear that the vision for the social network comes right from the CEO, and Facebook are probably the tech company most reliant on one person. Lets hope nothing happens to Zuckerberg, but for a bit of a laugh, have a look at this video and see what would happen if he did decide to delete the site just for the hell of it.

Coca Cola: Facebook Places Recycling King

Coca Cola Recycling KingCoke and agency Publicis E-Dologic after doing the Facebook Village earlier now created a wonderful recycling campaign using facebook places. They added over 10,000 recycle bins locations to the Facebook Places system, so people could find a Recycle bin nearby at anytime. The person who checked into the most recycling sites was crowned Coke’s Recycling King. Thousands participated and shared the recycling experience with their friends by checking in and uploading photos. Have a look at the video below:

Nike Running Routes Graffiti

Nike knew that the younger generation doesn’t enjoy running and taking that into notice Nike Amsterdam along with Boondoggle Amsterdam created a campaign to paint graffiti on the city routes.

PUMA Pimp your Sole

PUMA India ran a massive on-ground crowd sourced activity combined with viral videos and high frequency social media activity which resulted into 50,000 fans in just 15 days and generated over 8 million impressions and a lot of happy faces. Killer campaign with a big creative twist which got people talking about it. Wouldn’t be shocked if it grabs something in Cannes.

One of the biggest crowd-sourced efforts ever

This is the trailer for “Life In A Day” which is a stunning new movie that is produced by Ridley Scott and which was shot entirely by….You. Last year Scott and director Kevin Macdonald joined Youtube in asking people around to world to help them create the first user-generated feature-length documentary film shot on a single day – July 24, 2010. The critics have all been saying that this stunning concept actually translates in to a stunning film and I have to say from the trailer here it does look good. What I’ll be interested to see is how they create a story line out of all the random footage and how they can hold our attention for a couple of hours. You can see a little bit more about the movie and details of how it was made and when it is coming out over on the original Youtube channel. Exciting stuff.
