One of the biggest crowd-sourced efforts ever

This is the trailer for “Life In A Day” which is a stunning new movie that is produced by Ridley Scott and which was shot entirely by….You. Last year Scott and director Kevin Macdonald joined Youtube in asking people around to world to help them create the first user-generated feature-length documentary film shot on a single day – July 24, 2010. The critics have all been saying that this stunning concept actually translates in to a stunning film and I have to say from the trailer here it does look good. What I’ll be interested to see is how they create a story line out of all the random footage and how they can hold our attention for a couple of hours.
