Dominos Pizza Hero for iPad

Dominos introduced ‘Pizza Hero’ for iPad, where you can make high quality pizzas by kneading dough, spreading sauce, sprinkling cheese, placing toppings and more as you race against the clock. You can also compete against other pizza makers on the Game Center Leader-boards. Your score is based on the quality of pizza you make within the time limit, and the more you play, the tougher it gets. Best part about it is that you can order that same pizza. You should check out the app at: http://dominospizzahero.com/ and watch a video demo here:

Mobile Apps Powered by LIGHT?

Titan recently launched HTSE (Hi-Tech Self Energized) watches that run on light. To take the users close to the product experience Maxus Digital team has conceived a first of its kind concept in the world: World’s First mobile application Powered by LIGHT.
Users have to power the mobile app by pointing their mobile camera to a light source like a daylight, light bulb, computer display etc. An augmented realty feature was also provided so that the users can virtually place a HTSE collection of their choice on their wrist, capture the picture and share the same on social networks! Users can also check out the nearest store where they can find a HTSE watch through a GPS based store locator in the app. I think this is an interesting innovation and can be harnessed for other uses as well in the near future. You can have a look at the app in the video below:

Will be interesting to watch when it releases on July 25th.

CTRL X – Lynx

Lynx is better known for its edgy marketing involving HOT, HOTTER and even HOTTER girls in its ideas. That’s the complete strategy a Guy Brand needs to follow, and LYNX always does it in style. LYNX UK has made a new Microsite with Interactive options to keep pressing Ctrl + X on keyboard in different situations to know How Lang can we last from Perspiration in order to promote the New LYNX Dry Anti Perspirant. An awesome idea for McDonalds by DDB Stockholm where they created an interactive game on a billboard which could be played by anyone in the play area without downloading an app. Interesting concept, with a crazy execution.

Real-Life Angry Birds

Angry Birds creators Rovio teamed up with Deutsche Telekom to promote new services for the German telephone operator by filming a life-size version of the popular smartphone (and now desktop) game. Didn’t you wish you were there playing it?

Lynx and Razorfish have created a new app called “Lynx Stream” which is made around night outs, importantly the ones which you can’t remember.

This app tracks all your mobile activity on the night, and portrays it in a timeline once you have created an event and invited your friends.

It shows all your activity like Twitter Posts, foursquare check-ins, facebook posts, pictures, etc.

Channel V Nokia’s IndiaFest – India’s answer to RFID

I recently posted examples of RFID use by Renault & Coke. Brands are jumping into combining RFID & facebook to create great experiences and sharing those great experiences. Channel V along with Nokia implemented RFID for the first time in India(correct me if I’m wrong) at IndiaFest 2011 and the brand got 12 million impressions. You can have a look at their video here:
